business segments. The Solution Engineering Manager will:
Work closely with Sales VPs to develop industry and account strategy
in order to develop a Solution Engineering team best suited to their
Industry or Territory, while also building exec level business and IT
relationships with our most strategic customers. Be responsible for
developing your team, encouraging a growth mindset and openly
recognising success; all aimed at developing a strong collaborative,
team-based culture and promoting a world-class employee experience.
Act as an evangelist of the organisation to various internal
stakeholders and create meaningful collaboration strategies to enable
a team selling environment. With external customers, the Solution
Engineering Manager will strive to build relationships with IT and
Business executives. The SE Manager should also recognise and
appreciate the nuances of managing a combination of Strategic and
run-rate deals spread across an Industry portfolio.
Maintaining a high velocity while keeping an eye on the large
strategic deals is key. Be dynamic in thinking, and not afraid to be
innovative in their approach and challenge the status-quo. Creativity,
and the ability to adapt quickly to new opportunities will be key
measures of success. Key
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Development Hire, develop and allocate resources, perform
employee reviews and evaluations, participate in strategic deals and
back up team members as needed to grow the business. Be a
player-coach, actively working with their team members to solve
difficult problems, and coordinating corporate or external resources
when required. Develop careers of the SEs on the team and provide
feedback around skill development based on observations from customer
meetings and through stakeholder feedback.
Promote team diversity (age, gender, experience, and heritage) Sales
Leadership Build and maintain strong technical and business
relationships within customers and partners eco-system. Work in close
partnership with Sales Leadership to understand relevant industry
sectors, help develop industry propositions, account plans and sales
strategy, ensuring that Solution Engineering are aligned to able to
provide support. Work closely with Sales on deal qualification and
resource investment decisions.
Establish a healthy communication cadence with the Sales VPs to ensure
meaningful business reviews and proactively point out challenges in
the territory. Management Communicate the vision and strategy and
continuously align with short to medium term goals to ensure your team
is aligned to the company strategy. Support the Sales Engineering team
by providing guidance on sales strategies, approaches to solve
specific problems, as well as a represent their team**Apply on the

Possess excellent analytic capabilities and understand how to measure
and impact success for both Sales and Solution Engineering. Build a
strong network of internal resources such as Product Marketing,
